There's more than one way to save on your GLEEVEC prescription. The information below provides details on savings options that are available to all patients, including patients who are uninsured or covered by government insurance.

Monthly co-pay assistance with the Novartis Oncology Universal Co-Pay Program.*

You may be eligible for immediate co-pay savings on your next prescription of GLEEVEC.

  • Eligible patients with private insurance may pay $10 per month*
  • Novartis will pay the remaining co-pay, up to $10,630 per calendar month*
  • Novartis will pay the remaining co-pay, up to $30,000 per calendar year*

This offer is only available to patients with private insurance. The Program is NOT available for patients that are enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal or state healthcare program or for Massachusetts or California residents. Patient pays first $10 co-pay on a 30-day supply, and the program will pay up to $10,630 per 30-day supply up to an annual max of $30,000. Staying With Branded GLEEVEC

Multiple generic forms of GLEEVEC are available, but you have the option to stay on branded GLEEVEC. If you and your doctor decide that it is right for you, the steps below can help ensure you receive branded GLEEVEC at every refill.

 

REQUEST

Your doctor can write "Dispense as Written" ("DAW"), or your state or territory's required language, on your prescription.

 

CHECK

While at the pharmacy, or while placing a mail order, you can verify with the pharmacist that your doctor's preference is for branded GLEEVEC. You also have the option to notify the pharmacist that your preference is for branded medication, even if your doctor did not write "Dispense as Written," or your state or territory's required language, on your prescription.

 

CONFIRM

Once you receive your medication at the pharmacy, you can verify that your pills are branded GLEEVEC. If they are not, you can speak with your pharmacist or doctor to discuss options.

Our Patient Assistance Now Oncology (PANO) program was created to assist you with accessing your Novartis medicine(s)—from insurance verification to financial assistance—all through a knowledgeable and supportive call center.

PANO offers resources and support designed specifically to help make that process easier.
